Your feelings are valid

If your birth left emotional scars, you’re not alone. You may feel guilt, fear, or disconnection, even if everyone says you should be grateful. You deserve support that understands how birth, body, and trauma are connected.

Is this right for me?

  • You feel guilt, fear, or numbness when you think about the birth
  • You or your baby had a NICU stay or medical complications
  • You feel disconnected from your baby or your body
  • Everyone says to be grateful, but you’re struggling
  • You’re expecting again and feel anxious after a past birth

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have birth trauma?

Birth trauma can look like replaying the birth, avoiding reminders of it, feeling on edge or numb, or feeling disconnected from your baby or body. Whether or not the birth looked “traumatic” to others, if it still affects you, it matters, and we can talk it through in a free consultation.

Is it too late to get help?

No. Whether your birth was weeks or years ago, it’s never too late to process what happened and heal.

Will therapy help me bond with my baby?

Often, yes. As fear, guilt, and stress ease, many parents find it easier to feel present and connected. Attachment support is part of our work together.

Can I bring my baby to sessions?

Sessions are offered by telehealth, so you can join from home with your baby nearby. We can talk about what works best for you during your consultation.

Your feelings are valid, and healing is possible.
